1. Overview
This policy explains how AgenticQuay Inc. ("AgenticQuay", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through agenticquay.ai (the "Site"). It does not cover the separate AI platforms we operate, which have their own privacy policies, or data we process on behalf of clients, which is governed by our client agreements.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, job title, phone number, company size, the service you're interested in, your preferred contact time and your message.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and session duration. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
3. How we use information
- to respond to your inquiry and schedule conversations;
- to prepare proposals and manage our relationship with prospective and current clients;
- to understand Site usage and improve our content and experience;
- to protect the Site against fraud, spam and abuse;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
We process personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, running and securing the Site), steps you request before entering a contract, your consent where required (such as for non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Client data in engagements
When we deliver services, we may process data on a client's behalf. That processing is governed by the client agreement and, where applicable, a data processing agreement. We deploy in client-controlled environments where possible, apply least-privilege access, and never use client data to train AI models. Where we use third-party model providers, we select configurations that do not retain or train on client data.
6. How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate — for example Microsoft Azure (website hosting and email delivery) and Google (analytics) — under contracts that limit their use of the data;
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security;
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguish visitors and sessions for usage statistics | Up to 2 years |
aq-consent, aq-consent-at (local storage) | AgenticQuay | Strictly necessary: remembers your cookie choice and when you made it | Until cleared |
Your choice. Google Analytics cookies are non-essential and are set only if you click "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. If you reject, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page; withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection and removes the analytics cookies we set.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies won't stop the Site from working. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship — generally up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or a client agreement. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, logging and vendor reviews to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of breaches as required by law.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California privacy laws — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" (we do neither). To exercise a right, email hello@agenticquay.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents
In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email address and IP address), commercial and professional information you submit (company, job title), and internet activity (Site usage) for the business purposes described above. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. California residents may request to know, delete or correct their personal information, and will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
11. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in other countries where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows when it last changed; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
14. Contact
